First visit was great. Second visit, I placed a reservation for 8:15pm, when the restaurant closes at 10:00pm. Showed up just before 8 to a locked door and switched-off open sign. Tried calling the restaurant and got their answering machine. No phone call to inform us of anything. We felt this place would become our regular date spot, but my wife was not happy, to say the least.

We love Italian food and Fede Trattoria was excellent. We all ate different meals and we had two appetizers. We were very pleased with all the food. The portions were generous so we were able to take home the left overs. Also the service was friendly and attentive. We had a very nice time.

Frisco has every chain there is. So, it's refreshing to see a place like Fede Trattoria in Frisco. It's a quaint open dining area and there were couples celebrating date night and families with kids. Has a lot of charm to it. The wait staff is very professional and the food exceptional. I had the Indeciso which was one part manicotti and one part cannelloni. Savored every bite. Had a wonderful family meal. We will be back.

Fede Trattoria was excellent!. We made a reservation on open table based on the great reviews. We arrived and our reservation was not in there system (I have contacted open table regarding this issue). We had a party of 6. Luckily they had tables available so it wasnt a major issue. The food was very authentic and everyone in our group really enjoyed the meal. My family and I will be back.

We had the utmost pleasure of dining at Fede Trattoria this weekend, and everything about it was outstanding. From the host at the door, to the waiter, to the unbelievable food. This restaurant sits in a shopping center on El Dorado off of the Tollway, but once inside you would never know it. It's a very warm and comfortable atmosphere, and it's obvious the owner has tried to create an inviting experience.

Service was excellent and attentive without being annoying, and was very open to answering any questions we may have had. The menu was interesting, as we typically will only find two or three items that sound interesting in a restaurant...however here, we had a really hard time deciding. There were easily about eight entrees that I would've loved to have lined up and sampled. We started with a Caesar Salad and some fried ravioli which were both quite nice, and then we moved onto the entrees!

I had a dish called Costolo Breve and Pasta, and it was easily the best thing I have tasted in months! It consisted of layers of braised short rib, sheets of pasta and cheese, all covered in a marsala sauce. I can't even do the dish justice with words...everything about it was outstanding. My wife kept reaching into my plate, as she too thought this was something from heaven.

Interestingly, my wife ordered the lasagne, which is one of our comfort and go-to dishes, and it did not disappoint either. It was solid and tasty and satisfying, and was everything you think a lasagne should be.

I don't frequently write reviews, but this place deserved a big round of applause, and I can't wait to go back to try some new dishes.

What a great surprise! Looking for a break from our regular Italian restaurant haunts and came upon this gem. Great food, terrific service, nice atmosphere, and over the top respectful and accommodating of my elderly Father.

Food is amazing! Every course was near flawless. The restaurant ambiance is most like the country side in Italy. Phenomenal food I can't say it enough. The service was a little slower than expected, but no worries when you enjoy their exquisite wine list. Great place!

My family and I live a little to the north but my folks were in town and they really like Italian food, it's not our favorite, usually to blah. But Fede really came through. They've only been open 8 months but their staff was experienced and attentive. They were only moderately busy on a Saturday night, about 2/3 full at 7pm. Our group was larger, 8 including 2 small kids. Our food came out in good time, everything was hot and delicious. My wife had the salmon and loved it, and she's a fish girl. I had something like Luca's Special, a pasta dish with an almond sauce and it was terrific. Everyone at our table loved their meal. Next time - we try dessert!
