Another superb experience at Bavette! The menu was even more amazing than usual with our choices mackerel and crab tartlet for starters and divine turbot for our mains. Somehow we squeezed in a cheese board and frangipani tart! I love that these guys are absolutely not resting on their laurels and the tide of incredible reviews they have received, Clement and team are just as focused on providing a wonderful experience as they were during our first visit a year ago. Already looking forward to next visit and would encourage any lovers of fabulous food served in a friendly atmosphere to visit!

Delicious food in a beautiful building. Service was excellent, they adapted one of the dishes to accommodate a food intolerance. No loud music. No time to hand the table back so we were able to relax and have a drink outside first, overlooking the Minster.

Lovely pub, beautiful interiors, staff were very very good, but the pies were truly spectacular! We got the steak and ale and the curry chicken, and both were exceptional, best pies we’ve ever eaten!
