We enjoyed our lunch. One of us had the Shrimp & Grits while the other had the Fish Tacos. The Shrimp dish was magnificent, while the Fish Tacos lunch was very good. We both had the Banana Sundae which was outstanding. Our server, Shayrise (not sure of the spelling), was excellent. She was personable, knew the menu, made great suggestions, and was efficient. We would definitely ask for her again. The ambience is nice, but nothing unique. However, the food and table service were the best. As the restaurant filled up for the lunch hour it got very noisy. We ate early and for the first 45 minutes it was ideal for conversation, but after that it was difficult to hear each other across the table for two that we had. The only suggestion would be for the hostess to try and be a bit more welcoming. We received a perfunctory greeting when we arrive and a sense that it was a burden to show us to our table.

Love it best birthday dinner ever favorite restaurant so far

This was a super cool taster menu experience, filled with lots of creativity and new ingredients, even for a person who is lucky enough to eat out often. I was delighted to chat with the chef and was also excited to hear that they are moving to a new location that sounds like it may be more becoming of the excellent standard of food they are producing. With only 20 covers at a time, its a great spot for a special evening (with or without wine pairing).
