Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Vallozzi's started over 50 years ago when Helen Vallozzi was selling homemade pastas out of her home. Helen opened a take out restaurant in Latrobe, PA a few years later where her popularity exploded. This was our first time at Carmella's and it was really great! Super helpful staff and the food was delicious. We were there celebrating our daughter's graduation from college and we really enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was so helpful in recommending delicious appetizers and choices for dinner. Can't wait to go back!
