Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Hugo

We had a lovely evening with great friends. The menu offers lot of options. Our table was in a crowded part of the restaurant which made noise levels loud.

We met friends at Granite City for supper. All of us are over 65. The menu and food were outstanding - although the salmon was a little small compared to usual 6-8 ounce portions. Our server was outstanding - responsive, noted when new drinks/water were needed, left us alone as we continued to visit after we finished our meals. Very good place to get together if you can manage with background noise. I had to ask for our group to repeat themselves a few times due to background noise - other people and bar (shaking drinks) noise.

We have been here several times, and it never disappoints! Great service, great food!

The lamb chops entrée was great. The tiramisu, however, left little to be desired because I was expecting the classic cake-like desert all moist with the coffee syrup etc. and instead was served a small glass dish of something closer to custard. Nothing like what I expected. Overall, the dining experience was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The food, the Irish Old Fashioned, the service, the decor, I loved it. And so did my kids.
