My family dined at Taps for my dads birthday and we had an amazing experience! The blackened chicken is SO good and I would highly recommend this dish 10/10! The chimichurri steak sandwich is also delicious for all my steak lovers. Even though there was some confusion with my dads dinner the server Brett and manager Vasco took real good care of us and made sure we left the restaurant happy. It was in his best interest to keep coming back atleast 6 times to ensure my dad was happy with the service and his dinner. My dad ordered fish and chips which did not come out quick or good so they took the dish back and offered anything else on the menu compensated for so my dad ordered the steak sandwich instead. Vasco still felt bad and he was persistent to ensure my dad was happy so he ended up taking his dinner off the bill and offered a $50 gift card to ensure he comes back and also another dinner to take home so they gave us a blackened chicken, brought out two deserts, the cheesecake and tiramisu on the house and made sure we were happy! For them it's not about the money lost but a happy customer! Now this is what I call customer service - you don't find this anywhere in Toronto at all these high end restaurants so we were really impressed and I always come here and will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality :)

Tastes like your Grandmother's cooking - the dishes are delectable. 6 Stars on Flavour and Authenticity. There was a live band after 8pm. Team is kind. Thank you Tamarind 🙏🏼

Ordered the polenta fries - simple and great, apple salad - different and delightful, octopus - cooked perfectly! The veal piccata was great, brought it home and still delicious the next day :)

Fall off the bone ribs so delicious. Perfectly cooked steaks all with friendly and attentive service. Not overly expensive

Good place to watch a game but not enough seats with a clear view of the big screen. Having said this they have TVs everywhere so you will see the game. Just note that they have a minimum purchase per person during games and a smaller menu. Food was good bar food. Wings were big and tasty.
