We had dinner at Timbuktu to celebrate my son's high school graduation. We were a party of 18. We started with the Timbuktu Hors D'oeuvres platter which was a greater starter. 2 platters were enough to get all of us started. A few of us also ordered the Maryland Crab and Cream of Crab soup - both were very good. For the entrees, we ordered the crabcake platter, crabcake sandwich, stuffed shrimp and NY strip steak - all were delicious and everyone was VERY happy with their meals. The crabcake was huge and mostly meat with very little filler! The staff were amazing giving us top notch customer service. The manager even stopped by to check on us. The ambiance was very comfortable - we felt like we were at home. :) We look forward to coming back here.

Cazbar was terrific. They took great care of us, and the food and drink were excellent.

My simple review - this place is the OG - the food is good but the place and the service and the history is what I go for. You can find better food, but it is the whole experience. The Bookmaker Salad is killer. Please go!!

I took my mother and sister here for a taste of international cuisine. They were from Minnesota and hadn’t experienced an expanded pallet yet. They both enjoyed it. We had the Turkish pizza, the fried livers and the assortment platter. It was a perfect introduction for them. All the Turkish lamps were beautiful and added to the ambience.

The food quality, coupled with the service makes this restaurant a county stand out and top dining destination.
