It was date night and looking for someplace new, found Masa & Agave downtown. I arrived a few minutes late, they still took care of us and with a smile, very nice. The walk from the Key Tower was short and easy. Loved the look outside big mural tells you, you're on track. But inside is even better, total cool vibe from the flower murals in bar to the Mexican Skeleton Dancing Mural in the dining room. We got a comfortable half booth, my wife's favorite so we can talk without shouting. The server was a great guy named Herman, very knowledgeable and thought of all our needs before we did. Ask for him! He recommended the Guac and tostada, it was great my wife loved the Guac and I wanted more Tuna! it was fresh and bright. For our entrees she had the Fish tacos and I had the Short Rib, both exceeded our expectations, rare to happen in CLE. We were going to have the elote but went with the fritas and did see it go out at another table and already have it on our list for next time, and yes, we will have a next time, especially after three Passion Fruit Margaritas, a must have! Great vibe, great service and real Mexiacn food, equals awesome date night worth every penny, Thank you Masa!

The food and restaurant were great! The bathrooms were absolutely horrible. They were very dirty and not at all maintained. I felt like I was back at a college bar. There was no soap in the containers, just a hand soap bottle left on the sink that was uncomfortable to even touch. No paper towels, very little toilet paper. The floor was littered. The walls had graffiti. I was so disappointed and the condition made me worry about what the kitchen looked like. For a restaurant in Crocker park, where the prices were high, should not have a restroom that looks like that! It’s not like they were too busy to get to it either as there were only two or three tables filled with customers to take care of. Thus will keep me from going to this place again.

Our evidence at Sakana was great. Our food was amazing and the service was perfect.

We visited prior to attending a show at House of Blues. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very capable. Drinks were refreshed when needed and the food was good and arrived hot and in a reasonable time. We got fast lane entrance to our show with the purchase of our food, and our waitress even refilled our drinks to take while waiting in line for the show. Great experience!

Took my boss and he loved the food and service...and was very impressed!
