From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants. Once a cozy hamburger and ice cream stand, Pates grew to be a place of celebration, camaraderie, and community. From the bonds staff made during countless summer seasons, to the engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, and family gatherings, Pates has been a backdrop for exceptional moments and people. Pisces Restaurant features coastal cooking with a Mediterranean flair. Our menu is a celebration of all things seasonal featuring mostly Cape Cod's native seafood as well as a variety of non seafood options. This is a Chef owned restaurant that is well know for its light fresh cooking style and a menu that changes often. Favorite dishes include sautéed calamari, lobster corn chowder, risotto, seared rare tuna, cornmeal crusted cod and a killer ribeye steak! Warm rosemary foccacia and famous desserts are made in house. Our carefully selected wine list is designed to compliment our cuisine and offers over 20 wines by the glass, craft and local beers as well as classic and creative cocktails.
