Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation.     Our first time dining here but it won’t be our last. Food and service were outstanding. Great selections on the menu snd such a wonderful experience to be able to eat gluten free without worry. Intimate setting and helpful staff make this restaurant a gem! Treat yourself.

    I came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and they had a special menu printed with a note and a prix fixe with wine pairings that was excellent! Such a pleasant surprise. The staff was very attentive.

    My husband and I both had the new Spring Lamb. It was one of the most delicious dishes we have ever experienced. It was prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. We enjoyed it with a great bottle of wine. The live music set the ambiance. The service was top notch. Another perfect evening at the Tasting House. We will be back.
