Alto brings a touch of class to the south suburbs. The decor is stunning as is the view onerlooking the Thornton quarry. The smoked burrata appetizer with pancetta, pistachios, tomato jam, balsamic sweetly drop peppers delighted the taste buds. The baby gem wedge salad was beautifully presented and tasty. Both wet aged and dry aged prime steaks are available. My wife’s wet aged petite filet was perfectly prepared and delicious as was my dry aged Kansas City steak. For non steak lovers a nice selection of pasta, seafood, and chicken/chops are available. The peanut butter tart was a delight . The pistachio crème brûlée, which was comped for our Anniversary was a symphony of flavor!! All in all a perfect spot to celebrate our 53rd anniversary.

The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with care and full of flavor. The service was equally impressive. A special shout-out to Che, who took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. Attentive, warm, and professional—Che truly made our celebration even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner or any special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!
