Dear Valued Customers, The Ambassador Training Restaurant is a TAFE NSW-licensed venue. Demonstrating our reputation as a leader in education and training for hospitality and culinary students, the students practice delivering fine dining food & develop their skills within an operational environment. As we are a licenced venue, BYO is not permitted. All dietary requirements must be advised in advance through your OpenTable platform booking. Meals will be served alternate drop, meaning you will not have a choice from the menu and will have limited facility for alterations. Payments will be made after your meal (special functions excepted); we do not accept cash or split bills.We only take reservations via OpenTable.     Went to Mezza Via for a couples birthday dinner on a Saturday night. Service and food were fantastic with added benefit of BYO for wine with a $4 corkage fee pp. They are licenced so you can order drinks, beer wine etc and prices were very reasonable. We had garlic prawns and burrata as entrees - note that you get garlic bread with prawns which was great for both the prawns & garlic oil and burrata. The entrees were fantastic. We followed up with a pizza with added toppings and a burrato on top and some baby calamari. Both were very tasty although more than we could eat. Our leftovers were placed in take-away containers for home. Service was friendly and attentive and food delicious. Overall a wonderful night.

    Love the menu and the general vibe. It feels like the staff are still finding their feet. They are pleasant and helpful but maybe need just a little more training on restaurant etiquette. Easy fix and not enough of a problem to stop us coming back
