A wonderful afternoon enjoying the chef's table at six. 9 course menu each one deliciously different. The kitchen and service teams are a credit to the restaurant.

Visiting Newcastle for only the 2nd time I remembered this pub as being excellent. It did not disappoint. The food was terrific with a large choice from the seasonal menu. Jo looked after us really well. An all round great experience.

Great ambience but a bit noisy(was fully when we were there) Service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. Food was of high quality and yummilicious, no doubt helped by generous amount of butter used in cooking!! Had the best squid ever including that tried in France/Spain and Italy. Well done chefs.

Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. There was an error with one of the dishes and the servers went above and beyond to make up for it. Really lovely staff and food, will be back.
