The food is sensational. Not a massive menu but plenty of options. Service was really good & extremely attentive albeit a little on the slow side. That was fine for us. We were an early arrival and the place was quite empty and a little on the cool side. It soon warmed up as the place filled up! Noise levels were pretty high so that might put a few off. I had the best meal of the table which was a crispy squid ink risotto with prawns. My friends definitely enjoyed their pasta and lasagna but they had a little food envy. My prawns were melt in the mouth and the risotto one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Wine list was extensive and fairly priced. The food similarly was well priced. Wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Finally got to try the roast today and was not disappointed! It was an exceptional meal and outstanding value for money at $25. The food and ambiance at the Three Crowns is always spot on but I have to give a shout out to the staff who work their butts off but are always cheerful and make you feel at home.

What an incredible experience. From the moment I booked online, until I left. I can’t fault the restaurant, the staff were courteous, very attentive and accommodating. The food was tasty, different and delicious. The ambiance was soft sweet and had a good vibe. Sitting out doors, was cosy!!! Yep directly under a heater! The decor, tables, chairs was very old style yet fashionable and very delicate.. it’s a must..the price is quite reasonable.

Enjoyed the visit overall - staff were lovely and attentive, the food was delicious but a little bit slow between starters and the bigger dishes. Ambiance was great. Only note is that the wines were quite expensive - the cheapest glass was $20 and would have appreciated more of a range in terms of cost. I find that most places will offer glasses at varying cost between $16-$24
