If you're looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience, Cinnamon Kitchen is an absolute must-visit. As someone who knows their Indian food, I can confidently say this is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. The flavors were spot on—each dish balanced to perfection, with the ideal level of spice that brought out the best in every bite. We started with the paneer, butter chicken, pilau rice, and garlic and coriander naan. Each dish was rich, aromatic, and executed brilliantly. The butter chicken was indulgent and creamy, while the paneer was perfectly spiced and cooked. The naan was fresh and warm, a perfect accompaniment to the flavorful curries. What truly elevated the experience was the dessert menu. The Garam Masala Crème Brûlée and Spiced Parkin were brilliant, inventive twists on British classics that hit all the right notes. The crème brûlée had that comforting, velvety smooth texture, with a lovely, subtle spice kick, while the Parkin was beautifully spiced and moist, a perfect end to the meal. The service was attentive, friendly, and the restaurant itself is an absolute treat for the eyes—elegant, modern, and inviting. It’s clear that the team at Cinnamon Kitchen is passionate about delivering both an authentic and contemporary dining experience. So good, in fact, that I've already booked a second visit with a friend! Can’t recommend it enough—Cinnamon Kitchen is a true gem.

Loved the food. Big fan of the Hawthorn so wanted to try their new venue. Quite simply the service let it down. We weren’t asked if we wanted a desert or other drinks - we asked for more drinks. It was clear staff wanted to go home. I get it my son is a chef we are well aware of the hours worked but even so. I know our booking was late in the evening but that’s the time we needed , it was offered - be prepared that you might have to work a little later. Overall we wouldn’t let it stop us goings again , we’d hope for a different experience. That said our guests that were with us were very happy with my choice of restaurant.
