Best Historic Restaurants in Valhalla

Casual but fun place to eat--overlooking the Hudson River and Waterfront Park.

It's hard not to overeat at Fogo de Chao. Everything--the fruit-inclined "salad" bar, the solidly basic sides, and especially the array of meats (but where were the chicken hearts??)--was delicious. The former bank interior is charming. Service was pleasant and prompt. It was noisy but manageable, and the vibe was lively.

Kittle House has excellent food and service. We ordinarily don't go out to eat on Saturday since we've had some terrible problems with service. We don't have to worry at Kittle House so if we have an early concert or show it is the only local restaurant we would go to.

Great place for a quiet meal. Food was great! Owner was engaging! Will be back again!

Excellent service and very good food. The staff was very accommodating especially to children.
