Best Historic Restaurants in South Pasadena

A lovely tea! We really enjoyed our tea choices, I had the seasonal peach tea with a brown sugar cube that hit the spot! The scones were delicious, one savory and one sweet. Then, all of the tea sandwiches were delicious, even though 2 or 3 really stood out to us. The desserts were very good too, although we missed having a chocolate treat! We will definitely be back for more!

Absolutely AMAZING experience at the beautiful RAYMOND. We sat outside near the fireplace and every dish did not disappoint.

Gus’s should be a household name. The cornbread was table-serviced and the pork sandwich made a delectable leftover!

I had such a great experience at Shiro tonight. The food was incredible — the clams were super fresh and full of flavor, and the ravioli was creamy, rich, and just really comforting. Dessert was also delicious, and the whole meal felt thoughtful and well-prepared. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and it made the night feel special. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We’ve eaten here before but this time the food wasn’t up to par. Would not go back.
