Marty has owned over 10 restaurant concepts in Minneapolis, MN, Kansas City and Columbia, MO, and Iowa City, IA. Brett and his family have owned and operated The Hilltop Restaurant for the past 40 years. Pete, the head chef, brings his most recent culinary experience and creativity from California to NOLO’s, The Rooftop Bar and The Basement Bar. His culinary vision and passion for local ingredients create new modern comfort food dishes. The team shares a passion for the restaurant and bar industry and sees an opportunity to fill gaps in the market in the North Loop.

As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities. The restaurant features an elevated yet accessible seasonal menu, along with a variety of cuts of meat, dry aged in a display case.The lounge has been given a modern makeover with chic furniture and marble table tops.     10/10 experience at Nolo's! I have been here several times and this was one of the best times. I went with a group of girlfriends and from the first moment of meeting our server, we knew it was going to be a great experience. Our waitress was so bubbly, friendly and talkative, making us feel comfortable and answering all of our questions. I have severe allergies and the staff paid careful attention to accommodate me without issues. The manager even came to our table to check in on my food allergies which brought a great piece of mind. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and made sure we were having a great experience. And the food! So good that there was little conversation at the table while we enjoyed our meals. The menu changes quite often so I know there are always new dishes to try every time I plan a meal at Nolo's. Could not recommend this restaurant enough!

    I have been waiting to go there since it opened as a restaurant from Lake Elmo Inn. I had an opportunity to take my girlfriend for her birthday. It was the first place I thought of to go. We were welcomed when we came in and loved the ambience of the area. The customer service was fantastic. Broad variety of menu, something for anyone. Price point was great and quality was fantastic. This restaurant is a gem. Downtown Saint Paul has continued to suffer with restaurants leaving the area. I hope this restaurant stays. They also have a venue for special events that looks really cool. Also, the location has great parking so it’s very easy to get there park and come to the venue.

    Beautiful setting with so much light and warmth coming through. It would be just as beautiful during a thunderstorm! Service was great- very happy with our server! Food was excellent. The avocado toast was so tasty and the burger just as good! Will definitely be back!
