We have been to Davenport Press many times and have always been satisfied. We were seated before 5:30 in order to use a 20% off coupon. Last night we went with another couple and, it may have been what they ordered, but they weren’t happy. One ordered the soft shell crabs which she said were “ok.” The other person ordered the veal scaloppini and said the veal was tough. One person ordered a Diet Coke at the end of the meal, but never got it.

First time visiting the restaurant. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the service was pretty good. My wife is gluten-free and our waitress was very knowledgeable and actually provided alternatives prior to us asking. I would highly recommend the location in Amityville.

Enjoyed Father’s Day Brunch! The staff was welcoming and attentive. The food was plentiful. The clams on the half shell and other seafood were outstanding. My Husband said the cinnamon bread French toast was the best he has ever had!

A hidden gem! Food and service were superb. Will be back.
