    We visited for our anniversary and both the food and service were amazing. We recommend the tasting menu with wine pairings. Our host was excellent and gave us detailed information about both the food and the wine.

    Excellent food. I had the monkfish small plate and it was perfect. The tempura vegetables were also excellent but take care there is a lot of it despite being a small plate. Maybe share one with your guest. The mains were perfect in size and quality. Overall worth a trip out

    I really like the guys working behind the bar, very friendly but also knowledgeable. I don't live in Oxford but I'll be sure to visit here when I'm back. We had a very nice lunch and a nice old school pub, which I hope people come out and support.
