The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant is a unique restaurant located in Atlanta which commemorates the historic 57th fighter squadron of World War II. As one might expect, the walls of the restaurant are covered with decor, art and photographs of the era, particularly planes and pilots of the U.S. Air Force during the 1940s. A hidden gem.Enjoy a relaxing setting in one of our inside dining rooms complete with fireplaces, a touch of jazz music playing throughout, and an incredible view of the airport with taxiing planes and helicopters. If you want to go even further into the 57th experience, head over to our lounge where we have two full bars, a dancefloor, and a large outdoor patio right next to the runway of the airport to get that full feeling of being next to the aircraft. Safely of course!As far as the food, we offer mostly American cuisines with additional specialty dishes from our amazing chef Aaron James always keeping quality delicious and the variety a must! Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson, two of the owners behind Storico Vino, plan to open Italian restaurant Yeppa and Co. Yeppa, named for a verbal exclamation expressing joy and excitement, will serve a menu of dishes influenced by the coastal city of Rimini in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy along the Adriatic Sea. Look for plates of cured meats and cheeses, grilled skewers, seafood dishes with fish from the Adriatic, paninis and piadina romagnola (Italian flatbread sandwich) as well as hearty pasta dishes, like lasagne alla bolognese and tortelli filled with meat, vegetables, and cheese. Expect pizzas as well as focaccia on the menu, too.
