Second time dining in as many weeks- lovely experience. Every dish was delicious and the service impeccable. It is becoming our go to restaurant for a lovely evening out.

Booked for our anniversary. We had been hoping to go for sometime & when the opportunity arose we took it. Booking for the early slot 5.30 was perfect post work for us. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the staff & shown to our table. The menu we chose was the "Taster Menu". Around 8 courses. There was an optional wine pairing but as I was driving we opted for soft drinks (great to see non alcoholic lager available) The dishes were delicious, each one seeming to get better & although the dishes are small they packed a punch in flavour & we left feeling just full enough. It was also well paced between each course & we didn't feel rushed. The music was at the right level & quite nostalgic. As the restaurant began to fill up the ambience was comfortable, yet we still felt the staff were attentive to us. Jono clearly knows how to cook & the food reflected the season. We were also given a signed menu for our anniversary (nice touch). Downside was the stairs (ok for us, but maybe not for everyone). We didn't want the meal to end & left feeling as if we had just spent a thoroughly enjoyable few hours eating great food in a lovely restaurant.

My husband and I enjoyed a really delicious lunch, particularly enhanced by the complimentary drink on arrival. The lunch dishes are quite simple, but beautifully prepared and presented. My calamari with strips of pepper and courgette lightly coated in tempura batter couldn’t have tasted better, followed by a perfect Caesar salad. We couldn’t manage a desert sadly, too full! The place was fairly quiet, probably due to people being out enjoying the hottest day of the year, but the ambiance was cool, calm and very relaxing. Our server was a lovely man, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We definitely hope to return soon.

I loved visiting Sukhothai. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed the cheerful ambience - proof that it's a consistently popular venue. We shared the Dim Sum platter for a starter, which was especially delicious, and the Mango and Sticky Rice dessert was also a favourite! We didn't have anything to drink beyond tap water, but we really loved the attentiveness of the staff in keeping our glasses full. A great experience, and we'll definitely be back!
