We visited for a birthday celebration last night and the table was already decorated with a welcoming birthday message on a chalkboard. A very sweet touch! Our table overlooked the runway and we enjoyed watching various aircraft taxi-ing including a spitfire! The food was well cooked and presented - portions were generous. The birthday boy (75!!) was given his dessert on a platter with a birthday message written in chocolate and a candle to blow out.

Lovely Sunday lunch in a very traditional pub setting in lovely countryside with lots of outdoor seating too and easy parking. Great friendly service and lovely atmosphere. We will be returning.

We always enjoy our occasional Sunday lunch at the Well House. With the weather, it was a lot quieter than usual. The service was swift, efficient and friendly as ever. No skimping on staff numbers! Food was good: I had the roast beef, and - as I am not a vegetable lover - was given an extra Yorkshire and roast potatoes without asking for or paying extra for. Three nice thick slices of beef. My mother had the scampi, which she particularly enjoys with the accompanying salad, and as a light eater she took home a doggie-bag of crispy chips. We didn't drink much, so with one pudding and a coffee between us, the bill came in at £56 - good value for a Sunday lunch.

Had a lovely lunch in the garden, the waitress was lovely, helpful and friendly. It was a really peaceful lunch. We’ve been here a lot and can’t wait to go back.

Had an amazing evening at Serendipity. Food was delicious and a reasonable cost. Cocktails were fab. Staff really friendly. Evening entertainment was absolutely fantastic - Electric 80’s. Can’t wait to see them there again!
