They make you feel like you are being welcomed into someone’s home with personal attention and kindness. The food was outstanding- salmon prepared perfectly, Scalops made as an entry and red snapper that came out of the sea onto your plate. Dinner here makes a special night superb!

Ribs and cornbread with maple butter were delicious!

From the moment you walk in , you can feel the warmth. All that are employed at the Hills of Herat are friendly, polite and incredibly attentive to your every need. The food is beyond delicous. Most of the time we stick with what we always seem to order. That is not to say that all the other dishes, which we have had a few, aren't delicious because they really are. The choices are hard. Their cucumber salad is a definity starter after their complimentray lentil soup is served, which is so darn good. The chicken kabobs are my favorite, they are tasty , and super moist. My husband typically orders their lamb chops, which he LOVES. Hills of Herat has become one of our favorite local restaurants. The people and the food is a great asset to Basking Ridge.

The snapper and swordfish specials were delicious! The calamari was just ok and the clams needed a little more seasoning. Overall it was a very enjoyable night.

This is a gem! The food is delicious, the owners are so nice and welcoming.
