Easily made a reservation for 2, we were 15min late and we had a show to catch at the civic center, and they had no issue with that which I was very thankful for. Our waitress Heather was very knowledgeable and helpful about the menu considering I’ve only ever seen a menu with this much variety and quality like 3 times in my life. Had a couple of cocktails to start, mussels for the appetizer which were good, not amazing but good. But the steak and lobster tail I ordered with the broccolini and lobster Mac, best meal I’ve had in Des Moines no doubt. Along with my date she had Miso Salmon on an edamame salad bed but she says one better than me, best meal she’s had in her whole life. I’ve been in the area for 4+ years and only go out to fancy places maybe once every 6 months, but this was notably my favorite dining experience. Will definitely recommend to others when they ask what’s good downtown. (I bartend in Grimes) Will definitely be back, well done.

Always new flavors and great options whether it’s small plates or entrees. Excellent for gluten- free options if need be. Leave room for dessert :)

Great food, service terrific, and quality of ingredients amazing. I would recommend only two people go. The tables/booths are small and cramped for four people. I will definitely go back with only one other person.

Ordered the squash salad with grilled chicken. Very fresh lettuce. Excellent flavor and service was fast. Definitely will go back to try several other items on the menu.

It was a wonderful place for a birthday celebration.
