Best Fun Restaurants in Forest Lodge

OMG such delicious food - we ordered almost everything on the menu & shared - can recommend & the beef shin lasagne is as good as everyone says - unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert but maybe next time :)

Five Stars! A Gem of a Brewery! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chuck & Son’s Brewery absolutely exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. The service was prompt, attentive, and genuinely friendly—everyone we interacted with seemed truly passionate about both the beer and the experience they were creating. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of laid-back and lively especially with the live music on Sunday. Whether you're there for a casual pint with friends or a weekend hangout or a 3rd birthday, the vibe is welcoming and comfortable. Thoughtful décor, great music at just the right volume, and plenty of cozy seating make it a place you’ll want to stay a while. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. The entire space, from the bar area to the restrooms, was spotless. It’s obvious that they take pride in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for their guests. All in all, Chuck and Sons Brewery nails it on every front—service, friendliness, cleanliness, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be bringing friends with us next time. Highly recommend!

Food was tasty, flavoursome and enjoyable. The staff were insightful and knowledgeable on the menu, tentative and friendly. We will definitely be back again for the next date night

The food and service is very good. But the music was so loud, not very good ambience. They did turn it off later which was much better. Otherwise , we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and very good value with 2 for one pub classics. Thanks Julia
