- AAnastasia1 review5.0Dined on Apr 19, 2025I just had the best night at Pub52! Let me tell you about their Lavender Haze cocktail—it's a total game changer! This drink is a delicious mix of gin, lavender, and coconut, and it’s refreshing and unique. I could sip on these all night, for sure! Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the lamb lollipops, and wow, they were amazing! The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and had this pistachio crust that added the best crunch. Plus, they came with a vibrant chimichurri sauce that just took everything to the next level. I also tried the Pub52 fried rice with chicken, and it was super tasty—definitely hit the spot! What really made the night special was our server, Amy. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a big smile and walked us over to our table. She mentioned that we came on a great night because the band playing was one of the best. She was SO right! We didn’t plan on staying for long, but between the amazing drinks, delicious food, and the live music, we ended up staying way longer than we intended! I can't wait to go back—I hear they have country nights and karaokeMore infoPub 52 Gastropub & KitchenPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• South Miami•4.2

- DDebbieGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Kao is an underrated spot in Coral Gables. Many restaurants pop up and last a year or 2. Kao has persevered without sacrificing quality and service. My husband and I had not been in since Covid. We were in the Gables and decided to revisit the place and it did not disappoint. We like many things about Kao: the diverse menu options, all of which were delicious, excellent service from our thoughtful server Helen, excellent cocktails, ambiance is fun and creative and they turn into a club on the weekend. My husband and I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank which was super tender and flavorful after being stewed over 5 hours. The mixed vegetables were delicious as well. Our friends had the grilled octopus which was tender and delicious and the Flap Steak which was tender and tasty. We started with a sausage appetizer and the sausage was spicy and tasty. We also each had an empanada of a different flavor. They were crispy and tasty. For dessert, we shared the brownie sunday and the choc chip cookie sunday which were both delicious. We recommend Kao highly and hope you will give it a try. Debbie & Darin SMore infoKao Sushi & GrillPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Coral Gables•4.3
