Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season.     We started with drinks (dirty martini that was amazing and bourbon from a very extensive selection) and a dozen house oysters that were some of the best we’ve ever had. Moving onto entrees, I had the lobster and crab cakes that were delicious, having more crab and lobster than filler. Hubs ordered the lobster and shrimp Mac n cheese. It was so flavourful and creamy and also loaded with shrimp and lobster. We both cleaned our plates!!

    We booked there semi private room for 7 of us for a birthday celebration. Food was great. The room was nice for being able to visit with the larger group. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Loved the pork pork tenderloin.

    Took whole family, they really enjoyed the variety of food and quality. I was unable to eat anything due to food allergies, which wasn't ideal. Left multiple messages at the restaurant with no call back over past month to see if I could order from menu, so I brought the family hoping their would be some options, but there were not, so I had an ice tea while everyone else ate. Our server was great and advised me appropriately that it was not safe.
