Best Waterfront Restaurants in Newton

We had a wonderful dinner at Atlantic Fish this week with a business acquaintance. We sat in a booth at the back so we could hear each other . . . and it was great. We had salmon, crab cake entree, and a lobster roll . . . all delicious. AF has a nice selection of wine. Glen was our server and did a great job. Thanks for a nice evening.

From Valet to service in the restaurant, this was an excellent experience.

Been to this location for a decade+. It's been in a minor backslide but the location and bar continue to be great and their space is hard to beat. Entrees are overpriced for portion pair with taste. Either portions need to increase or taste needs to increase to justify price. Apps make more sense. They continue to have an optics issue with their plating leading to an imbalance in perception of value. Small quantities on a large plate are supposed to suggest high-quality but they aren't reaching that level so if not increasing food quantity, decrease plate size. My plate last night looked comically empty when it was placed down and they aren't a Michelin star restaurant.

I have been to this wonderful place a number of times. They even used to make Lobster Savannah especially for my mother during the last two years of her life which was one of the only things she had left to look forward to and it never disappointed. I noticed that after she passed away, it became a part of the menu. This time we had the incredibly attentive and kind Hamid as our gentleman server. He was very helpful in describing everything and his smile was truly infectious. We look forward to returning again soon!

We had a great dinner and enjoyed the food and cocktails and service very much five stars
