We had a fantastic time. Amazing food, a lovely ambiance, friendly & helpful staff made our evening very special. Throughly recommend visiting Chakana and I am already looking at returning later this year.

We all had a great lunch today and met the lovely owner Warren and bought his insightful book on the Cotswolds! Fantastic food and location. See you next time!

A very good lunch. One had a very varied and tasty risotto. I had an excellent, well balanced shepherd’s pie with firm carrots snd a minted pea puree. Great treacle tart to follow. One of us had the special dessert— a complicated ice cream with little chunks of diced fruit and coconut. Served in a tall glass. All very well but impenetrably deep frozen. Spoon would have given way first. Waiter returned and wasn’t surprised to find it needed a blast in the microwave. Said most diners asked for the same follow up, raining obvious questions about concept or storage or both! Otherwise a good afternoon…

We tried the yakiniku grill for the first time, the food was excellent and the staff were lovely!
