Staff were really nice, the food was very good, and the back patio is the place to be on a nice afternoon.

We all had a great lunch today and met the lovely owner Warren and bought his insightful book on the Cotswolds! Fantastic food and location. See you next time!

An unforgettable experience, great service and a unique food experience!

A very good lunch. One had a very varied and tasty risotto. I had an excellent, well balanced shepherd’s pie with firm carrots snd a minted pea puree. Great treacle tart to follow. One of us had the special dessert— a complicated ice cream with little chunks of diced fruit and coconut. Served in a tall glass. All very well but impenetrably deep frozen. Spoon would have given way first. Waiter returned and wasn’t surprised to find it needed a blast in the microwave. Said most diners asked for the same follow up, raining obvious questions about concept or storage or both! Otherwise a good afternoon…

My partner and I both had the steaks which were lovely, both cooked as required. Would have preferred more mushrooms as served with just one small piece. Everything tasted perfect though so would recommend to all.
