Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Now owned and run by Wursty Four Biers Ltd the new owners hope to take this fantastic venue to new heights and enhance the service style and offer. Sincerely not to be missed!

Pho Norwich is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK.     First visit to a local-ish pub. Really impressed. Tastefully decorated - an old building sympathetically restored - lovely dining area, friendly staff who were attentive but not suffocating and incredible food. Outside garden needs a bit of TLC but perfectly useable d as bad we enjoyed watching the swifts come and go feeding their young. A great experience.

    Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Nice atmosphere with ‘cabins’ outside to the rear and bench seating out front onto the water. Food was excellent, will definitely be returning.!

    Our first visit here and won’t be our last! We both had the Greek inspired lamb Sunday roast and it was beautiful! So flavoursome Staff were lovely and friendly See you soon!
