We had an amazing meal. We arrived early for a few drinks before. Service was fantastic the food was excellent we can’t wait to come back.

Welcoming staff and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Food was very reasonably priced and delicious. The steak was particularly good value with a glass of house red thrown into the deal! My husband and I had different main courses and desserts and all dishes were scrumptious. Only niggle was the noise level as a large table of diners were rather loud so that it was difficult to hold a normal conversation with my husband across the table. I would go again but ask for a table at the back of the restaurant.

Absolutely love this place! My mum and I went for Sunday roast, both had the lamb, I can honestly say hand on heart THE best roast we've had to date. Love the staff, lovely welcome and recognised us, even though we've only been there twice and that was some months ago. Highly recommend this lovely old little pub....even the toilet was lovely and spotless with a lush smelling cream wash soap and hand lotion for after.

A charming follow-up letter continued the kind and attentive service we received at The Olive Tree yesterday. First time not hosting a family Easter get-together we thought we’d treat ourselves to a lunch with you and it was a treat, and with the best chocolate dessert I have ever eaten I couldn’t have wished for a better chocolate egg! It was unctuous with the oil and the depth of the chocolate was pierced with the balsamic, and that’s before the joy of the texture and temperature contrast; brilliant!
