Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. Let’s start with the Tarantino Margarita was excellent…and a definite go to when I return. My husband had a cucumber mint margarita and loved it. Chips and salsa were perfect in my honest opinion. I had the house burrito with ground beef. It was good but I think I’ll try something different next time. Now, truth be told, I did fill up on chips and salsa. I also kept picking at my husbands Fajitas because the meat and veggies were spiced just right. All in all- great experience and worth every penny.
