Since opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar has become Whistler's premier dining destination. The restaurant was named #2 Best New Restaurant in Canada by Air Canada enRoute, "The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade" by Vancouver Magazine, and Best Restaurant in Whistler by Vancouver Magazine. Condé Nast Traveler also recognized Wild Blue as "The Hot Table to Book in Whistler." In 2026, it was named one of North America's 50 Best Restaurants. Led by founding partners Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director, and celebrated chef Alex Chen, alongside Executive Chef Derek Bendig, Wild Blue showcases Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally sourced ingredients. In 2024, Neil Henderson and Alex Chen were inducted into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame for their contributions to the industry.
