Filet was excellent, as was the fish! Great wine selection!

Excellent food and dining. Would highly recommend. The roof top bar is great place to start the evening but recommend staff at the roof top bar let those who have reservations for dinner downstairs know that they have to finish their drinks at the rooftop bar, and unable to take downstairs to the restaurant. We left drinks half full as our table became available. Also, the restaurant needs to have Cabernet Sauvignon choices available by the glass. Currently just available by bottles only. The food is excellent as well as ambience. Parking available without having to pay, so nice.

I came for the first pool and music experience that River Lodge and Ciao Papi hosted this past Sunday. I have dined here multiple times in the past and have always appreciated the ambience and the food. I think for a first attempt at a new experience, this event was an overall success. The musician was lovely and the ambience around the pool is always perfect. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. My order was forgotten, and then lost, and wasn’t noticed until I inquired about it nearly an hour later. I was really excited to get the pesto sandwich again, but sadly it had been taken off the menu, so I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which was made in haste once they forgot about it and was very subpar – all lettuce and chicken with a few bits of cheese at the bottom. And I was double charged, by accident of course, for my pool pass and meal, a charge which is still hanging on my account 4 days later. I will definitely be returning, but I think I will wait until they dial in their poolside experience a little bit better.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Convenient and tasty. Nice friendly service.

We had the best wine tasting! Every wine we tasted was fantastic! We went to another winery (which I will not name, but is well known ) the next day and we were disappointed because each wine we tasted at Al Lago was superior! Al Lago wines far outshined the other and stood alone as an excellent winery. I hope to be able to purchase more from them and have it shipped to us. I wish we lived closer. This would be my go to winery by far! This is a hidden gem!
