Our meal was outstanding. I’m never disappointed. The server and food lived up to expectation. Well done

The calamari appetizer ($18)was very dried out. The only edible part being the artichoke. The shrimp scampi ($24)was also dry. 6 dry tasteless small pieces of shrimp with no sauce, stuck into garlic mashed potatoes with 4 small asparagus spears. The best part was the mashed potatoes. Sad. Ambiance and service were excellent.

I finally got the reservation for myself to celebrate my birthday, even though it was 2 weeks ago. I could not get a seat at the time. I am so glad to have a special evening treating myself to a wonderful belated birthday dinner. The staff were all so professional. I got a birthday card with all their initials, and a few beautiful sweets with a birthday candle. It feels so special. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and efforts. The food were delicious and so delicately made, each like a piece of art. Thank you Commis. Highly recommended!

Great service - friendly and warm. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening catching up over a variety of tasty traditional Italian dishes.

Great for a special occasion. We had the prosciutto wrapped shrimp, dayboat scallops, and the rack of lamb. The food was very good. Service was very good. We plan to try the ribeye and and filet mignon next time.
