Nice shaded outdoor eating area. We all enjoyed our choice of food and the refreshing sorbets to finish. Friendly staff.

We decided to have the taster menu paired with wine. The food was fantastic, and the wines were excellent, complementing the various courses superbly. However, good food without the service to match often lets many restaurants down. Clava excelled with that, too! Friendly and informative information was given about the courses and the wines, whilst leaving us to enjoy their hard work. It was a superb night and I will definitely be booking again. A real gem of a find!

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance was elegant, the service impeccable, and each dish beautifully presented with incredible flavor. Highlights included the expertly prepared Orkney Scallop, Herdwick lamb and perfect wine pairings. A must-visit for fine dining lovers!

I asked for a pint of bitter snd no one knew what that meant and then I asked what larger they had and they couldn’t tell me despite the bar having many, when I spotted a bottle of Doombar I was offered ice with it? I was shown to the wrong table. I asked for a brandy and coke and and was asked what type and said I didn’t mind. There response was, I don’t know what brandy is and she really didn’t. A black Woman arrived and understood and was excellent and clearly had at least one else worked in a bar at some point.
