The Legacy Menu | 31 years | 3 courses | £31You asked, we listened. We’re overjoyed to welcome back the unmissable Legacy Menu for the entirety of July. To pay homage to our rich history, we will be relaunching a special nostalgic menu featuring iconic dishes that have defined Gaucho’s journey. The menu includes highly requested plates from across our history, all in celebration of our 31st anniversary. Gaucho is now the custodian of a painstakingly restored Grade II-listed building on Pilgrim Street, blending a sophisticated elegance with industrial elements, reflecting the city’s legacy for impeccable craftsmanship. With a sweeping centerpiece bar that’s perfect for early evening drinks and a wide-plan restaurant with an open kitchen, it will become the restaurant to see and be seen in this great city.

Opened in February 2014 by Kenny & Abbie Atkinson, House of Tides is located on the historical Newcastle Quayside and set within the beautifully restored Grade 1 listed 16th Century former merchant’s town house. House of Tides is a casual, informal restaurant which is set over two floors. The rustic ground floor entrance level with its original 16th century flagstones and exposed beams, provides an excellent venue whether you're settling-in for a drink, pre-dinner aperitif or a leisurely nightcap. The first floor which houses the main restaurant seating area also with exposed beams, big open fireplace as well as views over the River Tyne.Kenny and Abbie’s vision for House of Tides was to create a casual and informal space where everybody should feel comfortable and relaxed with no compromise on quality. House of Tides is a One Star Michelin & 4 AA Rosette award restaurant.
