Rocking Chair is a good staple for Avalon. We had the specials. I had the barbecue chicken and my daughter had the pasta which both were delicious. It took a little while for the food to come out ,so be patient. Summer crowds. Bartender makes great cosmos. Service was OK -college kids . Casual dress a bit louder restaurant . They do have a guitarist /singer. Which gives it a more upbeat fun feel. You can ask to sit on the porch. It is covered. Varied menu. Something for everyone. . Highly recommend -make a reservation !

Odd experience. We got there & said they had no reservation for us - that it must have been for the other restaurant in hotel. But we got table. Noise level very loud - lots of families. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. Sushi & wing appetizers were phenomenal. The rolls in the chicken sandwich / burgers were slightly stale. Otherwise everything was very tasty.

Loved eating brunch here at Provence in Cape May. Food was excellent. Service was impeccable. So attentive. Staff even showed us the gorgeous grounds. My only disappointment is that you no longer serve dinner. Your dinner entrees were so well prepared and served.

We were happy with our meals. The fish tacos were very good and a nice portion. Same with the burger. We have been here before and it will stay as one of the places we will visit on our vacations in Avalon.

Absolutely amazing, will definitely return. Delicious, fresh food, attentive servers, such a great value and upgrade from boardwalk food!
