My mum and I really enjoyed our High Tea. The service was very good with timely top ups of prosecco and cups of tea. The food was tasty and plenty for a High Tea. The tables were set nicely too and we had a window table, so enjoyed views of the grounds. The only hiccup and small disappointment was that the restaurant is not truly wheelchair accessible - there are 4 steps up into the restaurant. When we arrived we were told that they could get a ramp from the hotel if required. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the foyer level though. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

For that special occasion this intimate venue provide a 5 star experience with simple decor, beautiful vista & delicious food. I recommend the oysters and trout to indulge. The attentive yet unobtrusive service complements the chef who accommodated our dietary requests.

The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fresh, creative and delicious. We had a lovely relaxing brunch in very pleasant surroundings. A wander through the nursery on the way out was perfect.
