Doce Taqueria, born in 2015 on Pittsburgh's South Side, brings a unique blend of authentic Mexican street fare with a vibrant Los Angeles twist. In 2022, Christie Miller, a Pittsburgh native, took the reins as the new owner of both the South Side and McKnight Road locations. Christie's connection to Doce runs deep; she's been a dedicated part of the team since its inception, having served as an employee and manager, and even played a role in the franchise's early development. Christie, alongside Head Chef Gage Lubbert, another Doce veteran since 2015, is on a mission to transform Doce Taqueria into a household name. Their efforts are already bearing fruit, with a third Doce location opening in Bridgeville. Building this full-service restaurant from the ground up has been a challenging yet incredibly rewarding endeavor for both Miller and Lubbert, marking a significant milestone in their careers.
