Built circa 1820 as a grist mill, The Old Mill Inn is a newly-renovated historic, waterfront, adults-only (18 years+) bar and restaurant on Mattituck Creek, located on the North Fork of Long Island. It serves classic American fare with a fresh local twist such as fish & chips, crispy squid, oysters, cheese burgers, and seasonal local vegetables by Executive Chef Kyle Bloomer. The past and the present collide inside the historic bar room (serving classic cocktails, wine and beer-on-tap) where the mill's original gear shaft stands among the wooden ceiling beams signed by past patrons, dating back to the late 1800s. First time here and it was amazing, the workers,the food,the atmosphere was fantastic. Will definitely come back again soon. The only complaint I have is that it’s a bit pricey.
