Delicious food in a wonderful setting! The Fleece was busy on a sunny Friday evening - we were glad we'd booked! It's asparagus season, and there was plenty of local asparagus on the menu. Our steamed asparagus starter was perfectly cooked and all the food was piping hot.

Fabulous people. Tasting menu had fabulous individual dishes but they did not really flow together. Everything was beautifully made and presented and price was good. Wine chosen by glass as both driving but "glass" rather small. Overall super nice kind people but tasting menu needs more thought.

We had Afternoon Tea for 4 at The Cotswold House Hotel. There was a slight mix up with the booking as Open Table had allocated the Hidcote Brasserie instead of Afternoon Tea but the Hotel staff sorted things out smoothly and we were given a lovely table in a fabulous drawing room allocated for Afternoon Tea guests. The tea itself was really very good , one of the nicest we have had and far superior to say the Lygon Arms in Broadway in our view. Service was very good and discrete, perhaps a bit more checking when we had finished as we had to chase for the bill a couple of times but nothing major. Overall highly recommended , lovely ambience, beautiful setting, very good food and very good service
