I was met in a friendly manner and service continued in this way, and was given quickly throughout. I had a soup starter, steak main course (medium rare) and a simple desert. All were cooked to a nice standard. It is a nicely furnished pub, clean and spacious. It was not too busy. It has a nice ambiance. It is next to a mainish road, but not too noisy in relation to traffic. There are a fair amount of parking spaces, including one for disabled persons.
