We made a special trip to WTS and it was wholly worth it. The restaurant is intimate and beautiful with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere supported by a great playlist. Service was the perfect balance of knowledge and attentiveness yet unpretentious. The local and seasonal set menu was cooked with a high level of skill with an exceptional balance of flavours from the incredible pre meal snacks to the final flourish of the smoked caramel macaron which illustrated the chef’s talent perfectly.

Great choice of menus . My oysters followed by the outstanding cod dish was a delicious. My guest from America particularly enjoyed his a la carte fish and chips . The staff were attentive and knowledgeable without being in any way overbearing. Fabulous lunch .

Very nice meal, well presented, and excellent staff.

Ordered from the set menu offering, plus a cocktail and a bottle of good Malbec (reduced by 20% as part of the set menu deal). The cocktail was one of the best Aperol spritzes we’ve ever had. Both our starters and mains were excellent, as was the Malbec. Only slight criticism is that the Snug we were in was a little too dimly lit and a bit chilly. That said, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend eating here.
