We have been visiting Amberley Castle for over 30 years. It is a very special location in every respect. We have had afternoon tea twice this year and I am sure we will return again soon. The hotel sets standards other might aspire to.

Today was my 1st visit to Piccolinos, Chichester! It did not disappoint! We were served by the delightful & super efficient Lily who made our lunch time eating experience perfect! ( A superb Ambassador for Piccolinos!!). We ordered Lasagne which was SOOO delicious! Excellent choice on Menu & we will definitely return!

Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.
