1st time at this restaurant and will not be our last! Loved the food and the service was great 👍

Ordered from the evening set menu. Our party was 3 people and all chose different starters and main course. No difficulty in choosing something for our different tastes. Starters and mains had a choice of fish, meat or vegetarian. All well cooked and delicious.

The whole experience was great, well organised, the staff attentive and the food I would describe as above the average pub grub level. Whilst the choice is limited it is very tastey. If you order drinks onboard, please be aware that you are paying a 10% service charge not just on the drinks but also on the cost of the initial cruise tickets. So if you order say 2 non-alcoholic drinks the service charge will be more than the cost of your drinks. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience of travelling on the Countess lunchtime cruise, a vey pleasant way of spending some time in Stratford and would recommend doing it but the cost can escalate.

Father’s Day carvery - great food and excellent service. They were also happy for us to leave three cars in the car park while we did a 2 hour pre lunch walk.

The Open Table booking, which had been confirmed by email, had not been recorded on the Hotel system, so initially nobody expected our party of 4. This was eventually sorted out, but was a little irritating, considering the price charged for the overall experience
