La Provence de Mer is a "popup" French Bistro opposite the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse, located at the Point Lonsdale Guest House originally created for the 2024 / 2025 summer period and now trading through Autumn on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Specialising in LOCAL Provincial food from both the sea and land in and around the Bellarine Peninsula all prepared in a French Bistro style and atmosphere and frivolity! 2 plates $75,99 (could be one main and one entree or one desert) 3 Plates $86,99 (could be one main and one or two entrees OR one or two deserts or more traditionally a combination of entree, main and desert) Choose from our Provence menu or the menu of the day from the “special Board” board.Our Chef is classically trained and is passionate about provincial food!!

We Italians like to say that a gesture is worth 1000 words. When our hands aren’t in use, creating or experimenting with canvas and brushes, marble and chisel, pan and pot, we mould air with our fingers. The Whiskery is the cellar door for Bellarine Distillery. The Whiskery is an 18 years plus only venue .Babies under 12 months are an exception. The original farm shed has been renovated and is a rustic and inviting space to have a yarn over a cocktail, gin or whisky with friends.During warmer days the gardens and decks provide a relaxing environment and during the colder months a spot beside the fire is most enticing.Primarily our own Gins are on offer for consumption and sale, with the Whisky being available in due course - STAY TUNED. We also have a wider selection of whiskies also available for tasting. For those who wish to have an alternative to Gin or Whisky ( why? ) we do have a few of the local wines , beers and ciders available plus some soft options for the drivers.We have a limited food menu which includes a couple of simple pizzas and cheese & produce platters which is available Thursday - Sunday Please note bookings are for 2 hr blocks.

    A visit to the Whiskery is a great way to showcase friends & family what the area has to offer. We have watched it become more & more popular and we are super impressed it has not lost its rustic charm over the years. The setting is very tranquil - in the summer the sun shines through the trees if you choose to sit in the garden, and in the winter, there is the option of added warmth of the indoor fireplace or fire pit should you happen to be outside in the cooler months.

    Every course was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. If you haven't eaten here you only have until early July to experience superb food in a space full of character.
