Demonstrating our reputation as a leader in education and training for hospitality and culinary students, the students practice delivering fine dining food & develop their skills within an operational environment. Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. The mix of indoor and outdoor seating made things a bit chaotic, and we ended up with two wrong dishes at our table. But besides that, the service was really great overall. The sake on the drinks menu was definitely a highlight. It came in these chilled silver cups that really brought out how smooth and soft the sake tasted when drinking it straight. The cocktails, on the other hand, were a bit boring compared to that. The food itself was really good quality

The food prepared by the TAFE students was outstanding, as was the service. They are to be congratulated. We would have liked to have been able to buy a glass of wine to accompany the delicious food.
